Malachite is an R&B and alternative R&B artist born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.. raised in Kennesaw, Georgia. Rooted in gospel from early years singing in church, Malachite found her voice through poetry in high school and later discovered her passion for songwriting shortly after graduating college. After briefly joining a group called “282” she branched out to forge her own path as a solo artist.

Inspired by the likes of Frank Ocean, Brandy, Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Sza and Jackson 5.. Malachite blends soulful vocals with genre-bending production to deliver raw, emotionally honest music. Her sound is a reflection of vulnerability, resilience, and self-discovery stripped down or fully produced, it always speaks from the heart.
